Our Story

Empowered Podcasting was created to solve a simple, yet powerful problem: to remove the element of isolation from podcast creation.

Throughout this creative space, too many independent podcasters are trying to figure everything out on their own. But since podcasting features so many moving parts, trying to master strategy, technology, content creation, monetization, and growth initiatives alone can lead to podfade, burnout, and lack of engagement.

Empowered Podcasting was built to change that.

It started with the idea for a small, intimate conference. It evolved into something bigger. MUCH bigger.

After our inaugural conference in 2024 and follow-up offering in 2025, it became clear there was a strong demand for smaller, more intimate podcast events centered on genuine connection and meaningful conversation with everyone involved.

Thanks to that momentum, we’ve transformed Empowered Podcasting into a year-round community dedicated to elevating the podcast medium and the creators who make it great.
